Afghani People
The Afghani people have
had it. They have been in one civil war or another for
centuries. Then the Russians. After that the Taliban. Now
the U.S. and U.N. (See
About Afghanistan)
Some Afghans view the U.S. as their saviors, bringing
support, food and freedom to their war-ravaged country.
A few secretly support the Taliban and its fundamentalist
regime.
A portion are farmers, making a pitiful living from their
poppy farms and want their freedom AND the Pashtun drug
cartel to survive.
Team: Tango Alpha2's members will play multiple parts in
the scenario as referees AND roles players, acting as
informants, spies, CIA contacts, resources, supporters and
even suicide bombers. You will need their support to win,
but they are just as likely on the other side.
Points will be deducted for killing the innocent and
lives will be lost for trusting the wrong ones. An
"innocent" is anyone not carrying a weapon or bomb. Suicide
bombers are not innocents. Citizens are. In 2009's game, "Generation Kill: A Bad Day in Baghdad",
the Feyadeen would have crushed the Marines except they kept
killing innocent civilians and losing 25 points per
civilian. In the final battle alone they lost 575 points for
slaughtering Iraqi citizens. As it was, for most of the
game, the score was nearly tied due to the savage brutality
of the Feyadeen.
CIA and other Non Combatants
Besides the Afghans, there may be other NCP
(non-combatant role players) on the field. Unless a CIA
operative is carrying a weapon, he is considered an
innocent.
